This team specialises in the administration, support and deployment of the key, core systems within the Covea Insurance estate. The team\\\'s area of responsibility includes Networks, Databases, Infrastructure and Cloud.This is a hybrid position, combining the best of both worlds - working from home and spending time in our Halifax office.Step into a role where your potential is valued and your growth is supported.Where will I make an impact? Provide day-to-day leadership for a team of highly skilled professionalsEnsure timely progression of key tasks and facilitate effective decision-making.Set clear objectives and manage individual and team performance.Identify training needs and ensure the team possesses the necessary skills.Offer clear direction and support through regular one-to-one meetings.Lead the team to ensure all requests and tasks are completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard.Collaborate with the Business Continuity team to develop, test, and maintain a robust and high-performing recovery plan.Oversee patch management processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.Support the resolution of vulnerabilities identified by the Information Security team.Promote and maintain consistency in technology standards across the team.Act as a 3rd-line escalation point for complex technical issues.Stay up to date with current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices.What you can bring to the team: Solid IT background, with a strong understanding of technical operations.Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across teams.Highly organised with strong time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with precision and efficiency.Analytical thinker and problem solver, with the ability to solve complex problems and support informed decision-making.Adaptable and resilient under pressureEmotionally intelligent and empatheticClear, confident communicator - Communicate ideas and information clearly, confidently, and appropriately for the audience.Committed to continuous learning, proactively seeking opportunities to grow professionally and stay current with industry trends.ITIL Foundation Not sure if you tick every box?
