In this role, you will motivate students to develop their physical fitness and teamwork skills, promoting a lifelong love of sport and exercise. Responsibilities as a PE Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum. Provide students with a broad range of physical activities, including team sports, fitness training, and individual challenges. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages physical activity and teamwork. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Lead extracurricular sports clubs and support the organisation of school sports events and competitions. Requirements for PE Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching PE. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to inspire students to engage in physical activities and develop teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
