People Relations Coordinator

The Job

This is a fantastic opportunity, for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the People Relations EMEA function and support this arm of the global team primarily focusing on notetaking and assisting with other administrative tasks. The People Relations team’s key role is to undertake workplace investigations and facilitate the resolution of employment-related claims in compliance with local laws, Company policy and Company initiatives. The team works closely and collaboratively with HR, our in-house Legal team and other partners and stakeholders across the business.

The Daily

* Supporting the EMEA People Relations team investigators with (contemporaneously typed) notetaking during a variety of investigation related meetings.
* Complete general administrative duties including managing diaries, submission of expense claims, invoices and scheduling meetings.
* Work in our case management system (currently CaseIQ) entering cases and providing reporting as needed.
* Liaising on a routine basis with the People Relations team’s partners (including People & Culture and In-House Counsel) as appropriate.
* Ensure investigation notes are accurate and ready to be shared with the PR team and others as necessary.
* Maintaining and updating any internal files, reports and databases as required.
* The People Relations team is a remote function so it is envisaged that this role will be home-based, with travel to our various UK locations as required. People Relations EMEA are part of a Global team reporting to the US so some flexibility in working hours may be required.
* Performing other related duties as assigned including supporting colleagues in other jurisdictions including the US.

The Essentials

* Relevant experience of working as a Notetaker, Assistant or Coordinator in an HR, Legal, or Investigations team
* Previous experience of working on investigations or as a part of a Human Resource team
* Ability to work in a discreet, confidential, and sensitive manner
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
* Must have excellent follow-through and a strong sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communications skills with excellent contemporaneous note-taking skills
* Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel including our employees, lawyers, and business unit executives
* Must have computer knowledge with high proficiency in Microsoft Office

The Nice to Haves

* Prior Human Resources or Legal experience would be advantageous
* Ability to work in another European language (Polish, French, or Spanish in particular) in addition to English is an added advantage
