Senior Radiographer – Generals (Fixed Term Contract)
London, The Wellington Hospital
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: 4/5 day shift patterns can be considered between 08:00 and 20:00
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
Salary: Up to £51,000 dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Radiographer to join our Imaging department at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

The Wellington Hospital is the UK’s largest independent hospital with over 260 beds and 1000 employees. We have an international reputation for excellence in complex healthcare and have gained four decades of expertise in treating patients from the UK and overseas.

TWH Imaging opening hours are Monday-Friday 0800-2000

We have a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology Suite and a fully DR General/Fluoroscopy rooms.

We cover a wide range of complex surgical procedures to include use of navigational surgery using a specialised O-Arm.

Duties & responsibilities:

1. Provide a professional standard of excellence in radiographic services for all patients
2. Routinely perform all imaging processing, including basic PACS tasks e.g. loading images onto PACS.
3. Assist with the day to day running of the imaging service with X-ray, theatre and fluoroscopy radiology rotations. IR experience is desirable.
4. Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
5. To participate on the shift rotation in all trained modalities and site
6. To help with booking of immediate/on the day appointments and maintain appropriate departmental records as necessary.

What you’ll bring:

7. HCPC registration
8. Degree within Radiography
9. UK experience
10. Have experience within General scanning – X-Ray, Theatres. IR desirable
11. Knowledge of processes and procedures in radiography
