Job Role: Van Technician
Location: Hyde
Salary: GBP 47,000 : GBP 52,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications
Hours: Week 1: Monday to Thursday, Week 2: Tuesday to Friday
Overtime: Available and paid at 1.5 X
Benefits: 4 day working week, Half year and end of year bonus* (*discretionary, OTE GBP 600 each period), PPE and relevant equipment provided, Auto enrolment on company pension scheme (5 employee / 3 employer), Enrolment on Simplyhealth Scheme after 3 months service : Approx. Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
My client, a well:established fleet maintenance company with several depots across the North West is actively seeking to employ an additional experienced and qualified LCV Mechanic to be based in their new state of the art workshop in Hyde. The role is available due to company growth / increased business demands.
Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties
- The successful Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance
- Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
- You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
- You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include vans and cars
Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter qualifications required
- You must have detailed experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
: Any MOT testing experience Classes 4:7 would be highly beneficial
