Overview
Embark on a transformative journey as an Incremental CRM – Business Analyst 6 at Barclays, where you will help drive CRM enhancements within a fast‑paced investment banking environment. In this role, you will analyse business processes, evaluate supporting data structures and recommend improvements, leveraging your experience across deal lifecycles, products and the origination‑to‑execution model.
Purpose of the role
To support the organization and achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse business processes, validate data structures and recommend improvement opportunities.
* Transform data insights into clear stakeholder presentations using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel (pivots/macros) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Lead discussions, facilitate requirements workshops and manage competing priorities across business and IT teams.
Required Experience
* 6+ years in an investment banking environment with strong skills in analysing business processes and recommending improvements.
* Basic to intermediate knowledge of investment‑banking products, deal lifecycle and the origination and execution model.
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills; able to lead workshops and deliver presentations.
* Advanced Excel skills (pivots/macros) and proficiency with Visio & PowerPoint.
Additional Highly Valued Skills
* SQL skills for data analysis and mining.
* Experience with requirements definition and management lifecycle, adept with tools such as JIRA.
* Familiarity with prioritisation techniques (MoSCoW, RICE) and traceability of functional requirements.

* Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization.
* Develop business requirements that address business problems and opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
* Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
* Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
* Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
* Create operational and process designs to deliver solutions within agreed scope.
* Support change‑management activities including development of a traceability matrix to ensure successful implementation.

Location & Working Model
This role is based in Glasgow, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
