Overview
Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced recovery workers to join a reputable private charity in Coventry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement.
Responsibilities
* Work with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers to prevent present and future homelessness through the residential service.
* Deliver interventions to aid residents through their recovery using a weekly timetable tailored to individual clients.
* Collaborate with external agencies to support residents through their journey and recovery.
* Manage a mixed caseload and deliver interventions, focusing on individuals with complex needs related to drug use.
* Provide tailored support through recovery plans, facilitate both individual and group sessions, and work with detoxification teams within the program.
* Offer treatment recovery, harm reduction advice, and interventions for blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
Key Details
* Enhanced DBS required
* Hourly rate: £17-£20 (Dependent on experience)
* Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week / Monday to Friday
* Contract duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extension
