Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Mobile Commercial Plumber / Plant Room Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-standard mechanical and plumbing services across commercial buildings, ensuring plant rooms and critical systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive repairs, PPMs, and installation works across commercial sites.
Conduct plant room checks and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
Work with mechanical systems including:
Actuators
AHUs (Air Handling Units)
Pumps
Hot & Cold Water Systems
General Commercial Plumbing Systems
Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime for clients.
Maintain accurate job records using company systems.
Provide a high level of customer service and represent the company professionally on client sites.
Requirements
Essential:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
Proven experience working in commercial buildings (reactive and PPM).
Strong understanding of plant room equipment and commercial mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
Experience with pumps, actuators, AHUs, and associated control equipment.
Additional mechanical or electrical skills.
Previous mobile engineering experience.
Package & Benefits
£45,000 – £50,000 basic salary

1-in-6 call-out rota
£100 standby
Minimum 4 hours paid
20 days holiday + 1 extra day for every year of service
