Robert Half are currently seeking an Interim Assistant Accountant to join our client's team in Gloucester (with hybrid working) for an initial 5 month temporary contract.
This assignment is suitable for candidates looking for full time and part time hours
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 5 months
Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum (hourly rate equivalent)
Hybrid working - Based in the Gloucester office 1 x day a week (post training)
Working hours - The working hours are 37 hours per week full time, or part time circa 3 x days a week
You will be responsible for:
1. Travel expenses
2. Analysing financial data - actuals vs budgets
3. Support sales ledger/invoicing
4. Quarterly VAT returns
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Accruals and prepayments
7. Preparing month end journals
8. Balance sheet reconciliations
Required experience/background:
9. Previous experience of working within a finance function
10. Strong Excel skills
11. Experience with SAP - desirable
12. Team player
13. Problem solver
14. Positive attitude
