Cable & Splicing Services (CASS) is a leading telecommunications contracting specialist business and are now looking to recruit experienced and accredited Telecoms Engineers FTTP Customer Connections Engineers for long-term work in the North Devon area primarily in Barnstaple and Tiverton.
We are looking for Trainee FWA Wireless Telecoms Engineers to join our team in North Devon. So if you are a scaffolder or roofer with a head for heights, and want a career change in to Telecoms, this could be he role for you.
As a Telecoms FWA Customer Connections Engineer we're looking for someone who can….
* Install fibre to the customer premises, business and residential.
* Assist the support team with troubleshooting techniques and queries.
* Work on a self-employed basis.
* Be rewarded based on unit's installed, which we will help maximise for you. You can earn as much as you want, basically, based on how much work you want, and some of our FWA Engineers earn £300 per day.
As a Telecoms FWA Customer Connections Engineer the right person will…
* Have a head for working at height
* Have a good grasp on technology
* Be well-presented and able to demonstrate a professional image as the face of the business.
* Be able to demonstrate empathy with customers and colleagues - personable and friendly.
* Be proactive and efficient, and willing to go the extra mile for our client and customers.
* Have the willingness to work in all climates.
Skills & Experience:
* Training will be provided
* Previous experience working at height from a ladder and cabling from up to 11m telegraph poles
* Experience in lone & team working and health and safety requirements that are specific to working at height
* Practical experience in a customer-facing role
* Have a current full UK manual driving license
* Clear DBS
