Job Duties
1. Supporting the teacher in delivering educational activities
2. Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
3. Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
4. Helping with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
5. Assessing students' progress and reporting back to the teacher
6. Supporting students with special educational needs
Required Qualifications
7. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
8. Enhanced DBS check
Education
Minimum of Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience
Previous experience working in a classroom setting
Knowledge and Skills
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Knowledge of classroom procedures and educational best practises
Preferred Qualifications
12. First Aid certification
13. Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions
14. Work in a school setting
15. Regular working hours, typically during school term times
16. May require standing or sitting for extended periods
17. Potential exposure to noise and classroom disruptions
