Overview
A business based in Scarborough are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a 12-month contract. On offer is a salary of £28,000–£33,000 plus a range of excellent benefits including private medical care, enhanced pension, and flexible/hybrid working options.
Responsibilities
* Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Checking invoice details and resolving discrepancies promptly
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices within the system
* Maintaining supplier records and liaising with external stakeholders
* Producing reports and analytics for key business stakeholders
* Supporting a collaborative finance team in a fast-paced, global environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience within Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
* Proficiency in SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
* Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
