Job description
Our client, a prominent firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a skilled Project Manager with a civil engineering background to oversee water industry projects. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to manage significant projects within a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and overseeing watear projects from inception to completion
2. Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
3. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
4. Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
5. Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary
6. Preparing and presenting regular project status reports
7. Identifying and mitigating project risks
8. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among project team members
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector
10. Understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
11. Proficiency in managing clean water projects
12. Strong leadership and team management skills
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
14. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
15. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
16. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
