Job Description
3. Manage a team of 6 within the AP function.
4. Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
5. Supervise and support the accounts payable team with daily tasks and queries.
6. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.
7. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
9. Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment and invoice-related issues.
10. Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices in accounts payable.
11. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:
12. Team management experience.
13. Strong experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting & finance.
14. Familiarity with accounting software and systems used in the business services industry.
15. Excellent numerical and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
16. Proven ability to manage a team and prioritise tasks effectively.
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
18. Good understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
