Vehicle technician

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy Prestige aftersales team in Blackpool. If you enjoy servicing work with accuracy, strong standards and the right level of responsibility, this Service Technician role could be the perfect next step.

Full-time working 41.25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays

Duties:

Carry out servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty work and repairs

Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes and cambelt changes, using digital write-ups and accurate job card completion

Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with brand and workplace standards

Maintain safe working practices and support a high-quality, process-driven workshop environment

Requirements:

A recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)

Experience as a Service Technician or Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing

Strong teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety and quality

A MOT Licence is a plus, with training available if you are not yet qualified

A genuine desire to learn and develop, supported by manufacturer accreditation training
