Responsibilities

* Build relationships with the people you support and help them live their lives as they choose, in line with personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending appointments, employment, volunteering and hobbies.
* Support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in a supported living service to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Assist with activities such as going to the cinema, cooking, arts and crafts, and socialising in the community. Some individuals may require personal care and support with complex needs. A person-centred approach is essential to respecting each person\s choices and preferences.


Who you will be supporting

You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in a supported living service, helping them to lead independent and fulfilling lives. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities such as going to the cinema, cooking, arts and crafts, and socialising in the community. Some individuals may also require support with personal care and complex needs. A person-centred approach is essential to ensuring each individual’s choices and preferences are respected.
