Role Overview:
The Retail Stock Clerk plays a key role in supporting store operations by ensuring that merchandise is received, organized, and properly stocked on the sales floor and in the stockroom. This individual helps maintain a clean, efficient, and organized inventory system, supporting the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, unpack, and organize incoming shipments of merchandise.
* Accurately tag, label, and price products.
* Ensure the sales floor is consistently stocked and visually merchandised according to brand guidelines.
* Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or discrepancies.
* Organize and maintain stockroom cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
* Assist with cycle counts and regular inventory audits.
* Support transfers and returns between stores and/or distribution centers.
* Collaborate with sales associates and store leadership to fulfill product requests quickly.
* Follow all company policies and procedures related to inventory and loss prevention.
Key Requirements:
* Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred, but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and organization.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Comfortable with lifting, carrying, and moving boxes or merchandise up to 40 lbs.
* Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory systems such as Netsuite and Shopify.
* Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
