An Environmental and Planning Lawyer is required to join a major utilities company based in the South East on a permanent basis.
The successful Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to get involved with interesting work of importance from the outset and will join an experienced, dynamic, and close-knit team.
The Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements, but will be required to attend the office in the South East twice a week ideally.
As an Environmental and Planning Lawyer, your role will include, but is not limited to:
Provide focused accurate, effective, and timely advice on a range of environmental and planning legal matters
Assisting with Environmental Information Regulation queries
Managing external legal resources
Providing legal support on ongoing, large-scale programmes and projects
Qualifications and Experience required of the Senior Environmental and Planning Lawyer:
Qualified as a lawyer (solicitor, barrister or equivalent)
Experience in Environmental and Planning Law
An ability to collaborate well as a team player and take on managerial responsibilities
Those with Public sector or private practice experience are encouraged to apply and previous in-house experience would also be beneficial but not necessary
