We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties
* Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the chef.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
* Support food safety practices by adhering to hygiene standards and regulations during food handling and preparation.
* Help with serving meals to customers or guests, ensuring presentation meets the establishment's standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
* Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
* Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous.
* Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
