Role

Receptionist at Dale Road Dental Practice. Hours: 24 hours per week. Overview of duties

* You are the first point of contact for every customer, welcoming them, understanding how they are feeling, and ensuring a great experience. You will know that first impressions count.
* You will work side by side with every team member and build trust through efficiency, accuracy, and people skills. You will be a great communicator, able to talk clearly and calmly with patients in person and over the phone.
* You will handle any concerns and queries regarding treatments on offer, including pricing and follow ups.


Key responsibilities

* Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
* Managing the diaries and ensuring time is used efficiently
* Working with the team to understand the full range of NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
* Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
* Taking payments and pursuing outstanding patient debt
* Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations


Key skills and experience

* Ability to build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service
* Passion to build knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector
* Driven to contribute to the practice’s success by seizing opportunities
* Ability to follow processes and work in a structured, organized way
* Comfortable working toward practice KPIs (call answer rate, data capture, rebooking)
* IT skills and ability to learn SOE software
* Positive, resilient, and composed under pressure
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent teamwork
