Our client is currently looking for a Trainee Estimating Assistant to join their office team based in Worcestershire.
As a trainee estimating assistant, you will support the estimating and quantity surveying team with key administrative and technical tasks. You' will play a key role in the smooth running of project documentation, preparation of bills of quantities & client focused communication.
Main Duties
Administrative
Logging and inputting incoming and outgoing tenders onto a tender register.
Maintaining the tender register and chasing submitted tenders.
Setting up new contract files from successful tenders.
The live tracking of project documentation and revisions. Pricing & Tendering
Obtaining material quotations from drawings, specifications & plant schedules.
Assisting with measured take offs using specialist construction software.
Assisting with producing bills of quantities. Skill & Experience
Horticultural training or interest would be advantageous.
Strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
GCSE Maths, English, Science 5/C and above would be preferred
