Job Description

We’re currently recruiting for a Transitions Team Manager to join our Award Winning PRT business.As a Transitions Team Manager you will lead a high-performing team who are responsible for onboarding new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) schemes into L&G. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape our strategy, drive operational excellence, and make a real impact in a growing and dynamic area of our business.This is a hybrid working opportunity, which means you can split your working week between your home and the office to find a work-life balance that works for you.What you'll be doing:
1. Leading, coaching and developing a team of Transitions professionals to deliver outstanding service
2. Collaborating with the Head of Transitions to shape onboarding strategy and business plans
3. Managing daily operations to meet service levels, contractual obligations and client expectations
4. Overseeing project delivery, scheme documentation and data validation activities
5. Driving continuous improvement through process innovation and LEAN methodologies
6. Ensuring operational readiness and scalability to support business growth
7. Identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
8. Championing customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty principles
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
9. Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
10. In-depth knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and transition processes
11. A pensions qualification such as PMI or CII, or equivalent experience
12. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
13. Proven ability to manage complex operations and deliver against strategic goals
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
15. Experience in driving change and continuous improvement initiatives
16. A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering great customer outcomes
