Beesley and Fildes Ltd are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Supervisor to work out of our branch based in Chester.
As a Trade Counter Supervisor you will be responsible for providing a ‘first point’ of call for customer and maintaining high levels of customer service to maximise sales potential. Hours:Monday to Friday 07:30am– 17:00pm & alternating Saturdays 08:00am -12:00pm
Main Duties
* Follow up and file quotations issued to check competitiveness and to secure sales
* Merchandising front of house / shop floor & ensuring adequate stock levels
* Assisting customers over the telephone
* Assisting customers face to face within the branch
* Dealing with suppliers
* Ongoing product training and development
* Monthly stock take
Requirements/Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer facing role within a builders merchant or similar environment
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Sales driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to maximise profit
