Job Description
The candidate will report functionally to the EHS Leader and operationally to the Lead EHS Specialist, requiring in-depth EHS knowledge and technical expertise to promote and maintain a safe working environment and culture.
Key Activities
* Provide EHS guidance and support to Production teams
* Complete audits in accordance with company and legislative requirements
* Complete & review risk assessments
* Support the management of change process from an EHS perspective
* Maintain relevant EHS documentation and procedures, including the EHS Gensuite system
* Participate and lead Teams - Framework 2.0
* Assist in developing best practice sharing and communication
* Participate in accident investigations, hazard identification, and risk reduction initiatives/campaigns
* Engage in environment-related initiatives
* Collect and report EHS metrics
* Facilitate and coordinate EHS training
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in PC skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team
* Leadership capability
* Engineering and technical experience
* Flexibility to provide EHS support and training across shifts
Desirable Qualifications
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* IEMA Certification
* EHS training experience and/or training qualification
