As a People Assistant (Trainee), youâll be a key part of our People Team, helping with everything from recruitment and onboarding to handling general HR admin. This is a hands-on role that will give you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of HR while making a real impact on our organisation. You'll be supported throughout your apprenticeship to achieve a SCQF Level 6 in Business Administration, with a key focus on recruitment, and gain the skills to kick-start your HR career. Recruitment & Selection:\nâ¢\tAdvertise and promote job vacancies.\nâ¢\tManage applications and schedule interviews.\nâ¢\tIssue contracts and conduct inductions for new starters.\nâ¢\tEnsure all pre-employment checks are completed to get our new hires onboarded smoothly.\n\nOnboarding:\nâ¢\tAssist in welcoming new candidates and helping them get set up.\nâ¢\tConduct reference checks and identification requirements.\nâ¢\tKeep in touch with candidates and collect all necessary information for a smooth onboarding experience.\n\nHR Policies & Procedures:\nâ¢\tLearn about HR policies and help provide advice to managers and employees.\nâ¢\tRespond to general HR queries, ensuring that you're always there to support the team.\n\nPeople Support:\nâ¢\tBe the contact person for HR related questions and act as the bridge between employees and the People Team.\nâ¢\tHelp maintain a positive working environment by promoting our values of Commitment, Collaboration, and Positive Interactions.\n\nAdmin & Project Support:\nâ¢\tAssist with HR meetings and help prepare formal letters.\nâ¢\tGet involved in HR projects and provide essential administrative support.\nâ¢\tAnalyse workforce data and maintain HR records and systems. â¢\tA minimum of 4 Nat 5 passes including Maths and English (or equivalents) at grade A-C \nâ¢\t3 Highers at grade A-C, preferably one related to Business\n
