We are hiring a Level 3 Small Animal Hydrotherapist! The successful candidate will work alongside Jo at our Hydrotherapy centre at Village Vets Meadowbank, working 2 days a week on Monday and Friday from 9:00 am–7:00 pm.
Responsibilities
* Assess, handle and treat dogs in the pool and underwater treadmill.
* Manage water quality and the function of the hydrotherapy machinery.
* Run a working diary and manage time independently.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout multi‑week rehabilitation programmes.
* Collaborate with the rehab team and support shared case plans.
* Work alongside other therapists, vets and internal referral cases.
Requirements
* Labour intensive role requiring heavy lifting of dogs in and out of the water.
* Physical support of dogs during sessions, with assistance only needed for large cases (>40 kg) or spinal cases.
* Strict adherence to the department’s cleaning plan and maintenance of water quality.
* Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
Working Hours & Compensation
£12.90 per hour.
