Night‑Shift Support Worker (Child) – Peterborough, PE2
We're looking for a reliable, upbeat and proactive Support Worker to join a small team supporting a 14‑year‑old boy with Autism, OCD, Cerebral Palsy and Crohn's. He's sociable once comfortable, loves music, Sonic and football, and thrives on routine.
The Role (22:00–08:00)
A mix of sleep‑in and waking nights, providing 1:1 support in the family home.
You'll ensure his comfort and safety overnight, follow care plans, assist with personal care if needed, and work closely with parents and professionals. Training is provided.
Essential
* Warm, friendly, good sense of humour, down to earth
* Physically capable and attentive
* Strong communication skills
* Fluent English
* Clean driving licence (must drive client's vehicle)
* Flexibility & excellent timekeeping
* Enhanced DBS
Desirable
* Experience with Autism
* Willingness to travel with the family
Pay & Hours
* £12.50- £16.50/hr (double on bank holidays)
* 5 night shifts per week (22:00–08:00 Monday - Friday)
* Permanent contract
