We are now looking for a motivated Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our growing team, working on exciting projects that transform business processes and deliver measurable results.
Role Overview
As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for continuing to develop and enhance the internal systems already in place, as well as creating new solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse).
You will also take on responsibility for mentoring and supporting an apprentice in their development journey, and you will provide some day-to-day systems administration duties. In this role, you will work closely with and report directly to the Operations Director, ensuring our internal systems remain robust, efficient, and aligned with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Continue the development and enhancement of existing internal systems, ensuring they remain efficient, secure, and fit for purpose.
* Design, build, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to meet evolving business requirements.
* Develop Power Automate flows for process automation and system integration.
* Create, customise, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for data visualisation and operational reporting.
* Manage and configure Dataverse and other data connectors.
* Provide day-to-day systems administration support across the business.
* Mentor and support an apprentice, helping to guide their technical and professional development.
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
* Maintain documentation for developed solutions and processes.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
* Understanding of Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook integration).
* Basic understanding of data modelling and databases.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* Willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
Desirable:
* Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, AI Builder).
* Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and REST integrations.
* Knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting languages.
* Previous exposure to Agile development methods.
