Part‑Time – Job Share – Term Time Only. Grade 3 SCP 9, Pro rata salary £9,288.00.
We are seeking applications for this post, to start as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a Voluntary Controlled Islamic School. The aim is to raise aspiration and achievement levels by enabling improved attainment and attendance by developing closer links between school, pupils, families, the local community and other service providers. Experience of working in a school setting and a good knowledge of SIMS is desirable.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has a commitment to the Islamic ethos and aims of Al‑Furqan Primary School and its community.
* Can work within the pastoral team to support families and children.
* Has relevant experience and can demonstrate the ability to support children, their families and the school community.
* The role of Attendance Officer is vital to ensuring the success and safety of students at our school. As well as maintaining accurate attendance records, the Attendance Officer works with staff, families and external agencies to challenge poor attendance and put in place appropriate measures to support children and families.
* Provides data analysis to the School Leadership Team and Governing Body.
* Has good oral and written communication skills.
* Can manage time and workload effectively.
* Desirable: ability to speak Urdu, Mirpuri or Punjabi.
