An award winning technology integrator based in the East Midlands is expanding its engineering team and is keen to speak with qualified Electricians who want to move into the world of smart homes and integrated systems.
If you enjoy technical installs, take pride in neat wiring and want to work on high end residential and commercial projects involving automation, lighting control, AV and networks, this is a genuine opportunity to develop into a specialist field.
99 percent of projects are within 50 miles of Nottingham.
The Role
You will work on the installation of:
* Structured cabling and containment
* Home automation systems including Control4 and Crestron
* Lighting control systems including Lutron, DALI and DMX
* IT networks and WiFi infrastructure
* CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
* Audio Visual systems, home cinemas and video walls
* SMATV, MATV and IRS systems
Full training will be provided on specialist systems. The business promotes from within and actively develops engineers into senior technical roles.
About You
You will likely be:
* A qualified Electrician with strong installation standards
* Experienced in residential or commercial wiring
* Confident reading drawings and working to specification
* Interested in technology and smart systems
* Keen to learn and build a long term career
Experience in lighting control, data cabling or security systems would be an advantage, but not essential.
A clean driving licence is required.
