Location: Crewe - Pyms Lane
Working pattern: Fully onsite - Monday - Friday 35 hours per week, 9.30am - 2.30pm core hours
What You'll Do:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be the key user in organizing transportation for the R&D department, ensuring the timely shipping of materials worldwide. Your mission will include:
* Inbound and Outbound Transport Control: Manage all transport requests through the R&D inbox with efficiency and accuracy.
* Communication Champion: Liaise effectively with internal and external customers, ensuring smooth operations and superior service.
* Customs Knowledge: Utilize your strong knowledge of HM Revenue and Customs to navigate logistics seamlessly.
* Timely Execution: Complete requests within SLA timeframes, facilitating internal material movements with precision.
* Issue Management: Resolve and escalate build issues, ensuring all actions are tracked and communicated promptly.
* Cost Control: Oversee costing accounts within budget constraints, delivering projects on time and within financial limits.
* Performance Reporting: Produce weekly KPIs for logistics operations, helping drive continuous improvement.
