A warm Slough primary is seeking a nurturing and imaginative Reception Teacher to join the Early Years team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Reception Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning ahead of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026 as the Reception Teacher. This Full-Time Reception Teacher role includes mentoring, protected planning time and a strong EYFS environment that enables the Reception Teacher to focus on high-quality interactions, language development and early mathematics from January 2026.

Reception Teacher Responsibilities
• The Reception Teacher will design language-rich continuous provision and lead daily phonics sessions as the Reception Teacher.
• The Reception Teacher will observe, assess and plan next steps, lead transition into Year 1 and run parent workshops as the Reception Teacher.
• The Reception Teacher will be part of phase moderation and will implement targeted interventions from the term starting January 2026.
Reception Teacher Requirements
• QTS/EYTS or equivalent and demonstrable Reception experience required of the Reception Teacher.
• A Reception Teacher who is creative, organised and confident with early assessment practice.
• Available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Reception Teacher.
