The Home manager, Laxmi, has a clinical background and healthcare experience, and has been with Bupa for just over 3 years. We also have several long-standing staff members with over 20 years of service.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
* Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate medication records with your team.
* Ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
* Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team—promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
* Building lasting relationships with residents and their loved ones, fostering a sense of community.
* Developing strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile locally and beyond.
Key Skills and Qualifications Required:
* You hold a valid UK NMC pin and are committed to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
* You understand the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
* You stay up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
* You can build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* You are excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
