A well-established primary school in Darwen is seeking a skilled Year 6 Teacher to lead their final-year cohort through an important academic year. This role begins in September and runs for the full school year.
You will play a key role in preparing pupils for SATs, supporting their transition to secondary school, and ensuring they leave primary education with confidence and strong foundations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for SATs
* Track progress and implement targeted interventions
* Foster resilience, independence, and positive attitudes to learning
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards
Requirements:
* QTS with proven experience in Upper KS2
* Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
