This is a hands-on maintenance role within a stable and well established manufacturing site. You will be part of a small engineering team responsible for keeping production equipment safe, compliant and running efficiently. This is not a project-only position or an automation-heavy role. It is a genuine maintenance job where engineers are valued for doing things properly. Working pattern Monday to Friday- Regular Days 40 hours per week Salary £40,000 to £45,000 per year, dependent on experience Overtime paid at competitive weekday and weekend rates The role You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment, supporting day to day operations and longer term reliability. Key responsibilities include: * Planned preventative maintenance in line with the site schedule * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair * Responding to breakdowns safely and efficiently * Recording downtime, breakdowns and maintenance activity accurately * Supporting other engineers during major breakdowns or high priority issues * Carrying out repairs and improvements to production machinery * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safe working * Completing risk assessments and method statements when required * Managing contractors on site and ensuring pe...
