Location: Monmouth, South Wales (Flexible options available)
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday (occasional evening/weekend events)
Contract: Permanent, with a six-month probationary period

Role Summary
We're seeking a creative and tech-savvy Digital Communications Coordinator to support our communications and fundraising efforts. You'll work closely with the Head of Communications & Fundraising to deliver engaging content across digital platforms, manage our website and social media presence, and contribute to campaign strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
• Implement and manage our social media strategy across X, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube.
• Create and schedule engaging content including videos and reels.
• Respond to followers and monitor engagement and reviews. Website Management
• Maintain and improve our WordPress website.
• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
• Monitor SEO, web traffic, and site performance.
• Collaborate with the team to meet content needs.
• Making content updates to an established WordPress website Campaigns & Fundraising
• Support campaign planning and delivery.
• Create campaign assets (emails, videos, social media posts).
• Ensure messaging is consistent, engaging, and on-brand.
General Communications
• Design on-brand digital graphics using brand toolkits.
• Manage image/video archives.
• Create content for newsletters (Mailchimp) and blogs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SharePoint.
• Stay current with digital trends and tools.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proficient in WordPress, HTML/CSS, XML.
• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, Mailchimp.
• Proven experience managing social media channels.
• Excellent copywriting and ability to create engaging multimedia content.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time management, multitasking, and coordination skills.
• Commitment to our Charity values, inclusivity, and collaboration.
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Trello, SharePoint, Piwigo
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research.
• Familiarity with environmental issues, beekeeping, development work.
• Additional languages beyond English.
• Experience working or travelling in developing nations.
• Degree/ Diploma/Other Qualifications in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Familiarity with web standards, SEO, analytics
