Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a highly respected business based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to support their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to hit the ground running within a supportive and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
* Ensuring accurate processing of starters, leavers, pensions, SSP, SMP and holiday pay
* Maintaining payroll records and employee data
* Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting
* Supporting the wider finance function where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous payroll administration experience
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Experience using payroll systems and Excel
