Contracts Manager
£65,000 - £75,000+ life insurance, sick pay

Full-Time / Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a minimum of five years in the field, to join a well-established civil engineering contractor.
You will need to have a “hands-on” attitude and the willingness to get involved in all aspects of business operations.
Proficiency in civil engineering project management is a MUST, particularly with a strong background in utilities.
YOUR NEW ROLE
* The day-to-day running of individual sites.
* Produce RAMS for contracts.
* Develop the Construction Phase Plan and provide information and instruction to clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Lead and support all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements for the business.
* Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
* Produce/assist in the production of monthly valuations in conjunction with the Commercial Director / Quantity Surveyor.
* Prepare early warnings and variations for clients
* Support the commercial aspect of the business, which includes estimating and tenders.
* Hold site progress meetings at appropriate stages in the work.
ABOUT YOU
* Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering - HNC/ HND or BEng
* CSCS Card
* SMSTS
* Streetworks Card
* Implementing processes and procedures to maintain ISO standards in HSEQ
* Ability to work with existing and potential clients to develop new revenue streams
