H.Samuel in Reading, United Kingdom is hiring a Store Manager. Our Store Managers are inspirational role models who aspire to continuously improve. You will be responsible for achieving the store's targets through promoting a sales culture, building and inspiring a customer-first team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will model selling skills, coach and develop your team, and adopt a proactive approach to sales management.
Responsibilities
* Achieve store targets by promoting the sales culture in-store.
* Lead and develop a customer-first team; coach and inspire staff.
* Ensure compliance with company instructions, policies and processes.
* Control costs, payroll, shrinkage and expenses; plan and organise operational activities.
* Reflect brand and culture; lead by example and foster pride and performance that exceeds expectations.
Requirements
* An excellent track record of successfully achieving KPIs.
* Experience managing the commercial performance of a store.
* Experience leading store teams.
* Experience with target-setting and interpreting business data.
* Ability to inspire, coach and develop your team to maximise potential and performance.
* Proven track record of delivering amazing customer experiences.
* Clear passion for products and ability to understand customers' needs.
* A competitive spirit.
* Basic knowledge of legislative responsibilities (e.g., recruitment, employment law, health and safety, trading standards).
