Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Electricians to join our team on a large hotel project in Newquay, Cornwall. This is a full time position with potentially up to 6 months work. Rate of pay will depend on experience.
Responsibilities
* Carry out full electrical installations including wiring, containment, lighting, power outlets, consumer units, and associated equipment.
* Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical systems in compliance with BS th Edition Wiring Regulations).
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults and undertake remedial works where necessary.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and specifications.
* Supervise and guide electrical improvers or apprentices when required.
* Ensure work is completed to project deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
* Adhere to health and safety procedures and site-specific regulations.
* Liaise with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to ensure efficient progress on-site.
Experience
* ECS/JIB Gold Card (Electrician)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
* Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations
* Strong knowledge of current IET wiring regulations and building standards (including Part P).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
