We’re seeking an experienced Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer to join our Engineering team in Ansty, Coventry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of aircraft braking system valves, working across all phases of the product lifecycle — from initial design through to production support.

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer, you’ll:
* Provide mechanical and electrical engineering expertise in the design, testing, maintenance, and improvement of aerospace components.
* Apply knowledge of servo valve design and operation to develop and enhance braking systems.
* Solve complex technical problems using analysis, experience, and engineering judgment.
* Manage project documentation, analyse data, and prepare reports.
* Create Engineering Change Notices covering design improvements, obsolescence, source changes, and corrections.
* Produce customer-required documentation for engineering changes, limited production runs, and production stop orders.
* Communicate technical information clearly across engineering, production, and quality teams.
* Develop environmental test objectives to validate design changes, using analysis or similarity where appropriate.
* Support production and quality teams with technical queries ( drawing interpretation, tear-down reports, non-conformance investigations).

What We’re Looking For
To be successful as an Aircraft Braking & Hydraulic Valve Engineer, you’ll bring:
* A degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering with a working knowledge of electrical engineering.
* A systematic, analytical approach to problem-solving.
* A genuine passion for aerospace engineering.
* Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international).
