Finance Officer | Greater Manchester | Interim | Hybrid | £16 - £19 DOE
Client;
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a leading Not-for-Profit organisation in Greater Manchester who is seeking a Finance Officer to prvide support to their finance team on an interim basis for three months initially. Our clinet offers flexible working arrangements and hybrid working up to 3 days per week.
Duties will include;
1. Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
2. Dealing with a high volume of supplier payment queries via telephone and email
3. Performing daily bank and supplier statement reconciliations
4. Ensure accurate records, including in the company accounting systems and supplier statements
5. Process BACS payments and dealing with petty cash
6. Provide the Accounts Payable manager with accurate, comprehensive and timely purchase ledger information
7. Allocating cheque payments to Purchase Ledger Accounts
8. Ensure the relevant evidence is retained to release payments
9. Build relationships with supplier company counterparts to foster a good understanding and information flow
Person specification:
10. Have experience working within a finance position
11. Customer service experience
12. Good communication skills both written and verbal
