Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher ready to inspire young minds through engaging and meaningful learning? A forward-thinking secondary school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their science department from September 2025. You’ll teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for specialism development and enrichment. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Foster curiosity and a love for scientific enquiry.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school initiatives.
* Participate in whole-school life, including clubs and enrichment opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* QTS and a degree in a science-related subject (essential).
* Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.
* Passion for teaching and engaging students in science.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Willingness to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
