Salary for this role will be circa £85,000-£120,000 fixed dependant on level + strong bonus and benefits
A leading global private investment manager is seeking to hire an entrepreneurial and highly analytical Analyst or Associate to join its European Asset Management team in London. The firm invests opportunistically across asset classes, geographies and capital structures, with a strong track record in complex, platform-led and development-oriented real estate strategies.
This role will sit within the European real estate equity platform and focus primarily on supporting the management and value creation of a pan-European data centre portfolio. The portfolio includes direct assets, operating platforms and development projects across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers exposure to large-scale, high-value investments and a hands-on role across the full asset lifecycle. Despite the initial asset class specific focus, the successful candidate will be part of a broader European asset management team and will gain wider sector exposure over time.
The Role
Asset Management operates as a core investment function, responsible for driving value from acquisition through to exit. The role combines rigorous financial analysis with active strategic execution across complex assets and operating platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and execution of business plans across a pan-European data centre portfolio, including platforms and development projects
* Building and maintaining advanced asset- and platform-level financial models, including scenario analysis and downside cases
* Conducting detailed commercial, financial and technical due diligence
* Monitoring operational performance, leasing activity, capex programmes and development delivery
* Supporting financing and refinancing processes
* Assisting with portfolio and single-asset disposal processes
* Preparing internal investment materials, portfolio reporting and investor presentations
* Coordinating operating partners, advisers, lenders and other stakeholders across jurisdictions
* The team operates in a flat, entrepreneurial environment and expects all members to contribute meaningfully to investment decision-making and value creation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
* Experience within real estate private equity, investment management, investment banking or advisory
* Exposure to operational real estate, infrastructure or development projects preferred
* Excellent academic credentials
* Commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically about value creation
* Strong communication skills and ability to operate across multiple stakeholders
* High levels of initiative, professionalism and intellectual curiosity
