Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Mallusk
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Start Time: 8:30am (on the road by 9:00am)
Finish Time: Approx. 5:00pm (early finishes still paid full day rate)
Role Overview:
We're currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers (18 Tonne Curtain Sider) for our client based in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity with a well-established logistics company.
Drivers will carry out business-to-business deliveries and warehouse drops across Northern Ireland, with supportive management and a steady daily schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland (typically 6-7 drops per day, max 14)
* Operate an 18T curtain-sider vehicle with pallet truck supplied
* Ensure all deliveries are handled safely and efficiently
* Offload pallets at delivery points - some sites have forklift support
* Conduct vehicle checks and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism
* On Belfast routes, may return to depot for a second run (double drop)
* Support Dunnes Stores contract as required - may involve breaking pallets into individual commodities
