Fabricator
About the client:
Our client are a large manufacturing company with two sections in the business. This role is for the structural steel department, working at their site in Watford. Due to growth they are looking for a permanent MIG Welder.
As a Fabricator your duties will include:
* Fabricating
* Building large assemblies from engineering drawings
* Working on structural steel (experience with structural steel is essential)
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Plating work – marking-out, prepping, fabricating big items
* Using workshop machinery (bandsaw, drills, grinders, press brake, etc.)
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and maintained
* Fabricate components according to specifications and technical drawings
As a Fabricator you will work:
* Monday – Friday
* 7am – 5pm, 2pm finish on Fridays
* 1 hour break between 12pm – 1pm
* £17 - £22 per hour
