An assistant Manager opportunity is now available. Suited to both supervisors who want the opportunity to make the step up or experienced assistant managers who want a new challenge, this role will definitely appeal to those who enjoy fast paced, sharp end retailing.
As part of the Management Team, you will be responsible for the day to day management, staff development, profitability and success of the store. Joining one of the country's most respected and recognisable brands, you'll need to be commercially aware with an eye for marketing and a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
Supervisory retail experience is desirable.
Key Accountabilities: -
* Ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality
* Maximising the Store's financial performance and profitability
* People Management and making staffing decisions
* Ensure compliance to brand, health, safety and Company standards.
Other responsibilities include: -
* Customer Focused - Managing the customer journey from start to finish, ensuring customers are welcomed, served in a timely manner and to brand standards maximising their experience and driving repeat visits.
* Leadership - providing employees with coaching, feedback and development opportunities and building an effective team.
* Controls and Measures - Manage the stock, waste tracking, suppliers and staff scheduling within the allocated store budget.
* Strategic Planning - Alongside the Area Manager develop strategic and operational plans for the team, managing their implementation and measuring results.
The Person: -
* English and Mathematics at GCSE/A level at A-C or equivalent.
* Excellent Organisation and Planning Skills.
* Proven track record of monitoring profitability and making decisions to improve.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills.
* A team player with exceptional people Management skills
