Gymnastics at Lampton Leisure
We are launching a new gymnastics programme at our Heston and Brentford sites. To support this, we offer Level 1 qualifications to aspiring Gymnastics Coaches. We will provide all necessary training and enroll you in a Level 1 IGA Gymnastics course. A tailored development plan may include fast-tracking to become a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach.
What is the role of a Gymnastics Coach?
Qualified coaches will deliver high-quality, engaging, and safe sessions, ensuring positive experiences for all participants. You will contribute to the growth of gymnastics within Lampton Leisure and support your team through mentoring and coaching.
* Deliver structured sessions for Parent & Child, Pre-School, and Recreational groups
* Instruct proper techniques, routines, and form
* Provide constructive feedback for skill improvement
* Plan, organize, and review lesson content
* Assist with equipment setup and ensure safety
* Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practices
* Communicate with parents and carers regarding progress and feedback
What are we looking for?
No prior qualifications are necessary as training is provided, but a passion for gymnastics is essential. Candidates should be friendly, empathetic, patient, and eager to create a fun, safe environment. Strong communication skills with both adults and children are important for success in this role.
