Academics are currently working with a number of mainstream primary schools in the Brighton area who are looking to recruit SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support for children with additional needs. The Role You will be working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Many of the children require tailored support to access learning and the classroom environment, helping them to feel safe, included and able to reach their full potential. Additional Needs You May Support: Children in these roles may present with a range of additional needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASD) ADHD Global Developmental Delay English as an Additional Language (EAL) Down Syndrome What We Are Looking For: Experience working with children (school, nursery, care or youth settings preferred) A calm, patient and supportive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) If you are passionate about making a difference in children's education and supporting those with additional needs, apply today through Academics Agency.
