We operate year-round, and due to the nature of the work, you will work various shifts covering days, weekends, and bank holidays. Your contractual working week is an average of [number] hours per week, with a rolling rota including weekends. Evening shifts range from 5pm to 1am. Flexibility is key, as there may be occasions to start earlier or finish later, but we provide a rota in advance to help you plan your time off.
Key Responsibilities
About the Role:
You will visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, working alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer. You’ll build confidence with individuals, reassure them of their safety, and help reduce pressure on the prison system, enabling ex-prisoners to reintegrate into their communities. Each day offers different opportunities and challenges.
You will undergo 3 weeks of training and be mentored until comfortable in your role. Due to genuine occupational requirements, we particularly welcome applications from female candidates, in line with the Equality Act 0.
What you need to do the job?
We value diverse experiences; what matters is your commitment to making a difference. You will learn during a 2-week initial training, shadowing, and mentorship. You must have a valid UK driver’s license, be reasonably fit, and possess good communication skills to build rapport with individuals you meet.
